Down By the Bayou | Unreal Engine 5 | Realtime Game Environment

Hey folks, here's my latest project.
I wanted to challenge myself by learning new workflows with vegetation, shader work and stepping out of my comfort zone with an exterior environment.
While working on this scene, I was heavily inspired by titles like Resident Evil 7 and Last Of Us 1. The objective of this scene was to emulate the art direction, mood and atmosphere in those titles.

The boat was repurposed from Dekogon and retextured to match the scene's biome.
The Lily Pads and the ground foliage at the shores of the embankments were made by myself.

I used Quixel Megascans and Decals for most of the remaining vegetation, embankments, and a few other set dressing assets.
